Overview of the Construction Process |
| Step 1. |
Select your lot. Be sure to get the Township Zoning Regulations
and a site assessment from the County Health Department prior to making your
purchase. You will need to give this information to your builder. Note: Many
sellers will have a site assessment or zoning regulation that is outdated
always request a new assessment. |
| Step 2. |
For a Custom Home built on site select your house plans and
obtain a working set with the foundation drawing so you can get quotes. We will
be happy to help you with this process if you like. For a Modular Home select
your floor plan from our over 250 available. |
| Step 3. |
Call O'Brien Homes, Inc. at (800) 222-0799 to schedule an
initial meeting to review your plans and discuss your options and
desires. |
| Step 4. |
Select your Builder and negotiate a detailed contract. Make
sure types of products and materials are named. |
| Step 5. |
Select your Lender. Here are a few to get you started. (Click a
name to email them.)
There is also a
link on our Mortgage Tools page in the Homebuyers Toolbox to M&T Mortgage
where you can get pre-qualified or use the mortgage calculator. |
| Step 6. |
Upon the closing date of your loan we will start the permit
process and complete the construction process in 5 months or less for a
Pinnacle Modular and 8 months or less for a Custom on-site home. |
